We've kind of got Wednesday 29th Nov pencilled in as a practice session opportunity at Garons. I've asked for 7pm to 9pm as a slot option, but we'll wait and see what's offered. One of us will have to go and have a look and see how big the space is and see if it'll allow for a run up for the bowlers amongst us. The other thing we need to do is ascertain if they'll hire out bats and balls for the session, needless to say if they do that'll be an extra expense.
I've been looking on the internet and found that Basildon College have specific indoor training facilities for cricket including nets. I also know that St Chads school in Tilbury had a big sports hall with nets back in 1976 and that might be worth looking into as well, but it'll mean people will have to get in their cars and drive.
